From the 22nd until 25th of June 2015 the 6th International Symposium On Power Electronics For Distributed Generation Systems (PEDG) took place in Aachen, Germany.Copyright: © PEDG
The symposium brought together engineers and researchers from all over the world to discuss the technological advances in renewable energies and distributed generation systems. At the conference 5 keynotes were heard by the auditory.
Prof. Dr. -ing.Michael Weinhold, Chief Technology Officer of Siemens Energy Management, held a keynote speech about “The Role of Power Electronics for the Future Energy System”.
Another one was held by Thomas Heinzel, Head of Technical Department, Semiconductor Division, Fuji Electric Europe GmbH, about “The State-of-The-Art and Future Trends of Power Semiconductor Devices”
From E.ON Susana Quintana Plaza, Senior Vice President Technology and Innovation at E.ON, spoke about “Energy Technology Trends”.
The “Innovation Management at Westnetz” was lectured by Dr. JoachIm Pestka, Head of Asset strategy and innovation Management, Westnetz gmbH.
Dr. Tino Weber, COO Industrial Systems, Viessmann Group, held the fith keynote “Developments and Opportunities in the Transformation of Energy Infrastructure and Systems“
Many other interesting presentations and Tutorials were held at PEDG 2015.
