E.ON Energy Research Center at RWTH Aachen University looks back on a successful development. Interest and recognition in the work is growing steadily both within Germany and internationally as is shown by our many cooperative initiatives with renowned research institutions and enterprises worldwide. A wide range of research projects are implemented – often in close cooperation with other research institutions – on behalf of German federal or state ministries or under contract with other public-sector entities. In 2016, E.ON Energy Research Center celebrated its 10th Anniversary. After a decade of successful interdisciplinary and interfaculty research, the Center Team looks proudly on the history of the center and the bright prospects for research work to realize a sustainable urban environment.
