Institute for Energy Research and Policy, founded in 2005, is part of the University of Birmingham. The focus of research lies on the delivery of energy, consume and awareness. A combined research in the fields of science, engineering, business and economics delivers coordinated research, education and the development of global partnerships. Hydrogen storage materials, fuel cells, new combustion and energy conversion technologies, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, power systems and energy policies are an example for the possible research during the IECP Program.
